100 MW Power Plant at Siddhirganj, Narayanganj

The Power Plant utilizes 96 units of Brand New Caterpillar G3512B diesel generator sets rated at 1200 ekW at 0.80 Plant Factor (Lagging) at 1500 RPM, 50HZ, 600V continuous services at site with a total generating capacity of 100.32 MW. The Plant was based on a 3 Years Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB), which has recently been extended to another 5 years up to February 2019. The plant supplies power to BPDB’s 132 kV Grid in Dhaka.
